And Sarah Laughed
Book & Lyrics by Gillette Elvgren
    Music by Letha Holland-Deel

Back by popular demand, see the original cast in a special encore performance written by Regent's own, Dr. Gillette Elvgren.

We meet Sarah, Abraham's wife as she takes the stage with a cabaret-style, stand-up comedy act to rival the best wedding singer. Sarah's performance depicts her life's journey and what is was like being married to Abraham. That's right, the one from the Bible. Her story is so dynamic that it takes three Sarahs to tell it through songs, dance and a whole lot more! The Sarahs sing a medley of songs that feature rock, country and folk genres just to name a few.

Sarah has packed her bags and is ready to come to your church. Call her booking agent, Jennifer Martin, at 757-352-4228 (jennjac@regent.edu) to reserve your spot today!

If you are interested in having the performance come to your church, here is some helpful information to prepare for Sarah's arrival:

    Performance Requirements
    Space to perform
Piano (the alternative is a sound system to run our CD track)
Three wireless microphones (If this is not available, we can discuss alternative methods of vocal amplification if the space deems it necessary.)

    Cost
The performance is free. We would ask for a love offering to be taken to cover the cost of paying the performers and show royalties. Anything above our expense will go into Regent University's Elinor Malendoski Scholarship Fund.

    Advertising
Regent University's School of Communication and the Arts will provide you with the "Sarah" Artwork so you can adequately advertise to your congregation and community. This will include a two-minute promotional video you can show on Sunday morning.
