Jordan Stockdale ('12)

In 2009, the Lord called Jordan to attend Regent University to obtain his bachelor’s degree.  Jordan reflects, “ I came to Regent with a head full of ideas, and a heart full of ambition. The Bible reads in Ecclesiastes 7: 8 "The end of a matter is better than its beginning, and patience is better than pride." I must confess that 2009 was a very difficult year, because of such a strenuous change. Partner change with Regent's desire for academic excellence, and it makes life seem pretty difficult. Fortunately, in 2012, I graduated! I will never forget the feeling of walking across the stage. The sense of accomplishment was one of the most empowering moments of my life! Patience, obedience, and diligence pay off!”

While attending Regent, Jordan decided to start a staffing company.  After its success, he decided to build on his previous experience and create a construction company, Dandale Construction. Jordan says that, “It has been the most successful business venture I have done! I started it in August 2012, and it is currently growing significantly. Every month since August I have seen growth. The business has not once declined in profits! All the glory goes to God! I've seen His hand on the business from the very beginning, and He continues to download creative ideas daily.”

In addition to his business ventures, Jordan felt led to start a life group last January with his friend, Jon Murray. He says that, “The group has grown tremendously and my passion to serve and develop people has grown deeper and deeper. I've seen so many great things happen! People have been saved, we've prayed for people, jobs have been created, relationships beginning, and more than that, we've seen more and more of who God is!”

Reflecting on the future Jordan shares that, “Regent has done an excellent job in helping me find who I am in Christ. I have committed to the desire in my heart to build businesses and people all at once. My life's agenda is to develop people and help them become established in their calling. Also, I believe the business will triple in size next year, and I plan on buying land to expand the business. I plan on writing books and speaking in the future as well, while bringing people with me! I can't wait to see how God opens up more opportunities.”
