Regent Students Say Thanks
During each February, our Regent University students celebrate Friends
and Alumni Appreciation Month. The month long campaign is dedicated to
raising awareness among our students of the generosity of our donors.

"I have no words to express my gratitude for being accepted at Regent University. I am currently in the second semester and I have a special gratitude to the professors at School of Business & Leadership. They are excellent and caring, and the subjects are so interesting and contemporary. I never thought that my point of view on life would so drastically change. I have been a Christian in heart for many years, but studying in this school has been so inspiring for me. I see things in everyday life with a different perspective, and my self-confidence in my abilities has increased a lot. Immense thank you to all the sponsors who make this dream come true for all students who need financial assistance."

"When I walk down the aisle next May I will become a first generation college graduate! No other person in my family including grandparents, parents, sibling, aunts/uncles/cousins have graduated from college. I have you to thank for being able to accomplish my dream of having a higher education. Not only have you helped me to accomplish my educational goals, but you have also helped the generations to come in my family. I plan on working hard to be able to help my children with their educational goals. My children see the hard work and dedication it takes to reach my goals, and I hope that helps them with their own decisions in the future. Thank you for giving me hope for my future through your donation to Regent University. There is a legacy of Christian leaders you are helping to raise up to go into the world and make a difference. Your generosity is a blessing in my life."

"Dear Generous Friends of Regent University, The impact of your gifts is felt daily by myself, my family, my church, and my community. This semester, I am doing my Practicum work -- a requirement toward completing my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have entered a non-profit agency that advocates for victims of Domestic and Sexual Violence. I am so proud of how Regent --our excellent faculty and thoughtful curriculum- have prepared me for this new challenge. I am so grateful for the opportunity to learn in this setting. And I am so proud of the Gospel, which equips us to bring compassionate Light into this dark world. To know that your gifts contribute to these experiences only increases my gratefulness and humility. What a privilege to serve Jesus Christ, and all the more so, to be supported by the generosity and faith of others. Thank you."

"Thank you for supporting the mission of Regent University by investing in "Christian leadership to change the world." Regent University School of Law was my top choice for law school, so I was thrilled when I received my acceptance letter. As I near graduation, I can honestly say that my expectations have been exceeded. I have received an excellent legal education from professors who understand the challenges of integrating law and faith. I have been blessed to participate in classes that always begin with a time of devotion. Professors and students share their faith and begin each class with prayer as we are continuously reminded that "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge ..." Prov. 1:7. Thank you for your generous contribution and investment in the Kingdom of God."
