theological perspectives informed by charismatic experiences. These
lectures in Renewal Studies sponsored by the Center for Renewal Studies

"I Am One of Your More Grateful Graduates"
At 82 years old, Cameron Wilson, Class of 1994, cheerfully and humbly asserts that he is "one of the more grateful graduates." A pastor by calling, Cameron entered full time ministry in 1952. The Lord used Wilson in a variety of venues to share the gospel, including radio programing, prime time television programing and he also served as the Senior Vice President for the World Literature Crusade. Cameron and his wife Marvel raised five children and had enjoyed a full life serving the Lord, but Cameron felt dissatisfied. Due to health problems, he thought that he might be living in his final decade. He prayed about what to do and sensed the Lord asking "What would you be willing to give up?" That is when Cameron said that he and his wife decided to not rely on their material wealth or depend on success or achievement but to live by faith in God. It was then that Cameron decided to attend the Regent University School of Divinity at 61 years of age. Cameron connected with Pat Robertson and other Christian leaders who were reaching out to Eastern European countries after the collapse of the Berlin wall. Cameron was asked by the leaders to go to Romania to minister. He and Marvel founded the Discover Your Mission ministry and between 1992 and 2012 he has been a part of a move of God in Romania. He has seen 39 churches built, more than 1,600 Romanian church leaders trained at the pastoral training centers he and Marvel worked to create and hundreds of Romanians follow the call of the Lord to share the gospel in Muslim nations. Cameron also wrote the book Shepherds of Romania. Cameron says that he could not have done it without what he learned at Regent and that is why he says he is "One of the More Grateful Graduates."
