Alumnus of the Year 2012 Awarded

The Alumnus of the Year award was established in 2004 by the Regent University Office of Alumni Relations to recognize individuals who have gained unique distinction through their accomplishments and have brought positive change to the world through Christian leadership.

The Office of Alumni Relations is very pleased to announce the 2012 Alumnus of the Year, Ryan Bomberger.  An Emmy Award-winning Creative Professional, Ryan and his wife, Bethany, established The Radiance Foundation. Through ad campaigns, community outreach and live multi-media presentations, The Radiance Foundation addresses a myriad of social issues in the context of living with a sense of purpose. Ryan has a rather unique perspective on the innate nature of Purpose. His biological mother was raped, yet she courageously chose to continue the pregnancy, giving her son life so that he might fulfill a God-given calling.

Ryan is a 1997 graduate of the School of Communication & the Arts.  He is an innovative leader, working as a creative director, writer, designer, and public speaker. Today, Ryan uses his work – and his story – to challenge hundreds of thousands of people to find their purpose and the Hope that transforms.  He also serves as an inspiring mentor and educator of young people
